They say the American Dream is built on courage. At 19, while still learning English and adapting to American life, I launched my first business—Natalie Fashion in Vietnam.
The entrepreneurial fire was lit, and there was no turning back. By 21, through the unwavering support of those who believed in me. I opened my first salon in the USA. Today, that single salon has blossomed into a million-dollar enterprise with multiple locations.
But success isn’t just about numbers. There’s an old Vietnamese proverb I live by: *”You can achieve anything you want unless you don’t want it or haven’t tried hard enough.”* These words remind me that every challenge is an opportunity, every setback a setup for a comeback.
The Missing Piece
Despite achieving what many would call the American Dream, something felt incomplete. Through years of building businesses and serving clients, I discovered a profound truth: my greatest joy comes from seeing others transform and shine. Yes, I’ve faced heartbreak along the way—moments when my desire to help others improve their lives was met with challenges. But like the lotus flower that rises from the mud, these moments only made my purpose clearer.
